Gain knowledge and master skills ranging from analytics and optimization to information systems and behavioural sciences with the Master of Applied Science in Management Science and Engineering program.

Through coursework, original research and a thesis, you’ll learn traditional skills in supply chain management and optimizations while simultaneously being exposed to cutting-edge research in human computer interaction, energy management, and innovation entrepreneurship to address society’s most complex problems. 

With three main research specializations to choose from including applied operations research, information systems, and management of technology, you’ll be prepared to focus on the skillset best suited to your interests so you can achieve your career goals in private industry, government and beyond, or pursue further research at the PhD level. 

The Department of Management Science and Engineering requires either:

• a 75% overall standing in the last two years, or equivalent, in a relevant four-year honours bachelor's degree or equivalent, or
• a 75% overall standing or equivalent, in a relevant four-year honours bachelor's degree or equivalent, as the minimum requirement for admission to a master's program for applicants educated at a Canadian institution.

A 75% overall standing or equivalent, in a relevant four-year honours bachelor's degree or equivalent is the minimum requirement for admission to a master's program for applicants educated outside of Canada.
